Help with wall colour for teenage boy's room?

Tan is a good wall color for a blue room, and dark brown is a nice choice for navy blue as well. Browns and blues are really popular right now.

Add some contrasting colors to the bed by choosing a few throw pillows or a casual blanket.

If the navy rug is too much, add a brown area rug. It will definitely help to neutralize all of the blue.
