Black, blue, and cream flokati area rug

Need opinions on idea for a new bedroom!?

I can give you an idea of what I did in my own bedroom. I was looking for sophisticated, with a touch of old, southern romance.

I have cream on my walls, and I did one accent wall in a solid navy-ish blue. I used deep blue, black, and cream as my accent colors.

I have several large black framed photos on the walls that have a touch of blue, black and cream in the prints. On the floor I have a fluffy shag area rug like this thick, luxurious cream Flokati area rug. My bedding has cream and blue toile and I accent with blue throw pillows. I also have a black, wrought iron chandelier hanging above the bed.

The overall look is sort of girly, sort of romantic, but nothing too over the top.
