Decorating an office for a beach look?

For a beach look, you can paint your walls sky blue. If it's an office and you want to mute the color a bit, do one feature wall in sky blue and the others a neutral color. Behr has some great blues in their lineup.

Once you have your walls painted, add some accessories that will make you feel as though you are at the beach. Fake grass skirts can double as curtains if you like a kitchy look. Add a surfboard to your floor in the form of an area rug. Something like this Surf Board area rug would look great in a beach room.

Add vases with sand and tea lights, cup holders for your pens and pencils made from Ron John insulating mugs, or a series of beach scenes framed and put up on your wall.
