Turning a bedroom from blah to modern with a few quick fixes

Redecorating my bedroom. HELP!!!?

I spent some time in a show home today that had a comforter that was similar in color to the one you posted. I would have expected some color in the room, but other than a feature wall, the entire room was white!

The feature wall was a shade called 'Green tea' and the rest of the room was crisp white. There was a trail of leaves that were stenciled in places over the white, and they were the shade of green that the feature wall was.

I've seen a few duvets that sound like something you'd be looking for, and they were online at Pottery Barn. One in particular was very light and soothing, which is something you should have in your bedroom. There were butterflies that were girly, but they also had a paisley feel to them. It looked like a very contemporary duvet.

If you go with a green/white color scheme, you could add a luxurious shag area rug on your floor. Something like this Tiranga area rug would go great in a room that has those colors.
