Interior decorating - can black, brown, and white theme work in the living room?

Brown is a very big color these days.  Chocolate brown has been paired with blue and pink for new and interesting children's rooms.  By far the most popular couch color is now chocolate brown, and it's much more likely that an individual will purchase a chocolate brown leather couch than any other color of leather.
