Whilst this rug has a non-slip PVC backing which resists mold and mildew it is not intended to handle direct rain & sunlight. It needs to be used in spots with proper drainage and out of direct sunlight
If the rug does get wet 1) Wipe the bamboo surface dry. 2) Completely air dry the backing. 3) The surface the rug lies on should be completely air dried before the rug is laid back down
